Plenary meetings are always a valuable moment for reflection and alignment. They offer the opportunity to assess the overall status of the project, review progress across work packages, address challenges, and collectively define the next steps. The TELEMETRY consortium gathered from 1-3 July 2025 in Southampton, United Kingdom, for three days of focused discussions and strategic planning.
The meeting was hosted by one of the project partners, the University of Southampton, providing an excellent setting for in-depth technical and strategic exchanges.
A central part of the discussions focused on the progress of the project’s use cases and tools, which are currently under development. Partners presented updates on implementation milestones, integration efforts, and upcoming validation activities. The exchange allowed the consortium to identify synergies across technical components and ensure alignment with the project’s overall objectives.
Another important point on the agenda was the review process. The consortium discussed the results of the recent project review and the successful acceptance of deliverables by the reviewers. The positive feedback received confirms that the project remains on track and meets its expected standards of quality and impact.
Communication and dissemination were highlighted as a key priority. Particular emphasis was placed on the successful organisation of the LIFESEC Workshop at IEEE SmartComp 2025, which significantly strengthened the project’s visibility within the research and innovation community. The workshop served as an important platform to present TELEMETRY’s vision and engage with experts working on smart computing and security-related challenges.
Looking ahead, partners outlined the next steps for the coming months, including technical refinements, further testing activities, and upcoming dissemination actions.
