From 25-27 November 2025, the TELEMETRY consortium gathered in Athens for its plenary meeting, hosted by Athens Technology Center. For three days, partners came together to assess progress, address open technical questions, and map out the next phase of implementation.
The meeting opened with updates on the overall status of the project, followed by detailed presentations on the evolution of TELEMETRY’s use cases and the tools currently under development. Partners shared insights from ongoing technical work, discussed integration challenges, and explored how different components can better align to maximise impact.
Looking ahead, a substantial part of the discussions focused on the upcoming deliverables. Timelines, responsibilities and coordination points were clarified to ensure smooth implementation in the months to come. The exchange allowed partners to anticipate potential bottlenecks and maintain a steady pace toward the next reporting milestones.

Communication and dissemination were high on the agenda. Building on previous outreach efforts, the consortium discussed the organisation of the 2nd LIFESEC Workshop at IEEE SmartComp 2026. The new edition is expected to broaden its scope, with co-organisation involving additional Horizon projects, a step that will further strengthen collaboration across EU-funded initiatives and expand TELEMETRY’s visibility within the smart computing and security community.
Another important discussion point concerned publications. TELEMETRY has so far demonstrated a strong academic footprint, with partners contributing actively to the scientific field through high-quality research outputs. The consortium acknowledged that this sustained publication activity reinforces the project’s credibility and ensures its results reach both the research community and wider stakeholders.
The Athens plenary once again confirmed the consortium’s strong coordination and shared commitment to delivering technically robust and scientifically grounded results.
