About TELEMETRY
Overview
TELEMETRY aims to support the creation and sustainability of resilient digital infrastructures, systems and processes through continuous vulnerability and risk analysis of IoT components and ecosystems.
This will be achieved by determining methodologies for tools’ use, individually, together, and alongside external third-party assets, to support the complete lifecycle of components & systems and for compliance with relevant certification standards.
The project team will consider two aspects of the operational context for IoT ecosystems.
Applications in multi-stakeholder, collaborative ecosystems, comprising of interacting components with different domains of control, where different organizations interact to add value (including IoT supply chains). For that matter, the team will study three use cases in aerospace, telecommunications and manufacturing.
Where a IoT device or software component has upstream dependencies and libraries specified by Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs). Hence the team plans to use SBOMs as an input to determine the sub-components for vulnerability and risk analysis at component level.
