About TELEMETRY
Goals
TELEMETRY has identified the following five specific objectives.
TELEMETRY will determine and execute an effective communication and dissemination strategy to ensure engagement and awareness raising of key stakeholders during the project and will also determine an Exploitation Strategy for sustained maximal beneficial impact of results.
The project team will determine holistic methodologies for cybersecurity testing of devices, components and systems over their whole lifecycle and will also provide a cybersecurity testing toolkit platform and testing environment by integrating all tools & techniques into a component and system evaluation environment.
The project will provide tools & techniques for i) vulnerability / anomaly detection in components & systems, ii) testing components & systems, iii) secure update of components & systems.
Capturing relevant knowledge of device, software & systemic vulnerabilities for IoT ecosystems, to provide knowledge models, tools & techniques for semi-automated risk management of devices, components & systems, in order to provide trusted mechanisms to facilitate distributed sharing of testing, verification and security-related information.
The selected use case scenarios (aerospace, manufacturing, and telecommunications) represent complex ecosystems that host joined up functionality and incorporating IoT devices such as sensors & actuators, software from firmware level to services, fog/edge to cloud communication, and data transmission, sharing and management from across the network. Those ecosystem use cases will also be used to evaluate the TELEMETRY methodology, tools, techniques and framework.
